PepAI Privacy Policy

Doved Studio develops PepAI. This policy explains what the released iPhone app stores, what leaves your device, and the controls you have. PepAI does not sell your data, show ads, track you across apps or websites, or send your health and tracking records to Doved Studio.

2. Records PepAI Keeps On Your Device
PepAI stores the information you enter locally, including:
- Schedules, dose logs, reminders, and injection sites you record.
- Vial labels, quantities, dates, and notes you enter.
- Journal entries, measurements, weight records, side-effect notes, and onboarding preferences.
- Settings and deterministic summaries calculated from your local records.
PepAI protects these files with Apple data protection and excludes them from device backups. PepAI also excludes the derived widget snapshot from backups. The released version has no account, cloud sync, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or AI feature.
3. Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, PepAI asks for read-only access to body mass. PepAI imports the latest weight that Apple Health makes available and stores that value in your local PepAI journal. PepAI does not write to Apple Health and does not send HealthKit data to Doved Studio, RevenueCat, advertisers, or data brokers. You can change Health access in Apple's Health or Settings app.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes purchases and payment details. PepAI uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, unlock access, restore purchases, and understand aggregate purchase performance. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous app user ID, Apple receipt and transaction information, product and subscription status, app version, device and operating-system information, locale, currency, and service connection information. PepAI does not give RevenueCat your tracking records, HealthKit data, name, email address, Apple ID, or payment-card details.

5. Notifications, Widgets, and Live Activities
PepAI schedules notifications locally. Notification actions open PepAI and ask you to confirm before the app records a dose or skip. By default, widgets, Live Activities, the Dynamic Island, and the Lock Screen hide compound, dose, and time details. You can choose to show those details in PepAI Settings and turn them off again at any time.
6. Delete Your Data
Open PepAI, tap the Settings button on Today, and choose Erase all data. PepAI removes its local records, preferences, reminders, widget state, and Live Activities. You can also delete the app. Purchases remain attached to your Apple ID and can be restored. Doved Studio cannot retrieve local records that you erase because Doved Studio never receives them.
7. Children and International Use
PepAI is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. RevenueCat may process purchase information in countries outside yours under its published safeguards.
8. Changes
We will update this page and its effective date before a released PepAI version materially changes how it handles data. We will add an in-app notice when applicable law requires one.
