Roamie is developed by David PAVLOVSCHII, operating under the trade name Doved Studio.

By using Roamie, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not use our Service.

When you create an account and use Roamie, you may provide us with:

• Trip Data: Trip names, destinations, dates, itineraries, and notes

• User Content: Photos and images you upload to trips or expenses

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use Roamie, we automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: Features used, actions taken, and interaction patterns
• Location Data: With your permission, we collect location data to help you discover nearby places and add them to your itinerary

2.3 Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Roamie Pro, we receive purchase confirmation and subscription status from Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Roamie service
• Create and manage your account
• Enable collaborative trip planning with your travel companions
• Calculate expense splits and balances between trip members
• Sync your data across your devices
• Send you service-related notifications (trip updates, payment reminders)

4. Third-Party Services

Roamie uses the following third-party services to operate:

4.1 Firebase (Google)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• Trip Data: Retained until you delete the trip or your account
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized after 26 months
• Backup Data: Deleted within 30 days of account deletion

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Portability

You can export your trip data at any time using the export feature in the app (Settings > Export Data).

7.2 Correction

You can update your profile information and trip data directly in the app.

7.3 Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

7.4 Location Permissions

You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
• Encryption of data at rest
• Secure authentication through Firebase Auth
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and audit logging

9. Children's Privacy

Roamie is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
