Terms of Service - Qibla

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Qibla ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Doved Studio ("we," "us," or "our") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App.

3. User Conduct

When using Qibla, you agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Interfere with the App's proper functioning
• Circumvent any security measures

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and current

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Payment & Renewal:

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store
• Payment is charged to your App Store account upon confirmation
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Cancellation:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Refunds:

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (profile photos, prayer photos, messages). By sharing content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute such content within the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you share and must ensure it does not violate these Terms or applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to:

• Source code and software
• Design elements and user interface
• Logos, trademarks, and branding
• Text, graphics, and other content

are owned by Doved Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy of prayer times or Qibla direction
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security or freedom from viruses

Prayer times and Qibla direction are calculated using established algorithms but should be verified with local sources for critical religious observances.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOVED STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
• Any errors in prayer time calculations or Qibla direction

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct harmful to other users or the App
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App and/or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
